Darren Deering and Dan Hamlin presented their papers at the 2014 Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) conference that took place in Washington, D.C., from November 20th to 22nd. Darren presented a paper entitled “Public Policy as a Moderator of Institutional Forces: Developing a Theoretical Model for Academic Drift”, while Dan presented a paper he co-authored with Creso Sá entitled “Research Use and Higher Education Policymaking in Canada.”

Creso Sá is Distinguished Professor and Vice-Dean, Academic Operations at the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. He currently serves as Acting Dean of OISE.
