Emma Sabzalieva was a discussant and co-organizer (with Aliya Akatayeva) of the roundtable Global Bolognaization: Central Asian encounters with the European Higher Education Area, at the Central Eurasian Studies Society Annual Conference. The conference took place at the University of Pittsburgh on 25-28 October 2018.
Donna Heslin and Cheryl Mitchell presented at the Global Center of Entrepreneurship Centers conference in Chicago on Oct-18-19, 2018. They discussed findings of the OHCRIF-supported project on the experience and expectations of entrepreneurship students participating in Ontario-funded campus accelerators and incubators. Christopher Holt has been appointed Lecturer at the University of Waterloo’s Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business. His responsibilities at Conrad include teaching a practicum course to Master’s of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology students. Chris is currently carrying out his thesis research on entrepreneurial identity development among university students.
